Our Journey
Medini Natural began in 2020 as a B2B supplier of Ayurvedic raw materials, working closely with traditional pharmacies and farmers across India. We supplied authentic herbs such as Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Museli, and many others.
As we went deeper into the ecosystem, we witnessed two structural failures.
The Farmer Reality
We also witnessed a harder truth.
Farmers do not adopt chemicals, pesticides, and shortcuts by choice.
They do so because the system leaves them no alternative.
The real challenges farmers face are:
- no direct investment into farms
- no assured access to value-driven markets
- dependence on middlemen and long payment cycles
- rising input costs with shrinking margins
Even farmers who want to grow naturally are forced into yield shortcuts—yet still fail to earn dignified incomes.
This not only damages farmer livelihoods, but also destroys soil health and weakens the very foundation of Ayurveda.
The Ayurveda Practitioner & Small Manufacturer Gap
Across India, small and traditional Ayurvedic pharmacies & homely manufacturing of products like jaggery, ghee etc. continue to create exceptionally effective formulations, prepared in small batches using classical texts and generational knowledge.
Yet most of these formulations never reach people because:
- they lack branding and visibility
- they lack modern distribution
- they cannot compete with mass-produced alternatives
As a result, authentic Ayurveda stays invisible, while diluted versions dominate the market.
